Ande Jewel Hampton

Ande Hampton, 70, of Shamrock, Texas, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Coulter Road chapel.

Ande Hampton was born on November 22, 1954, in Amarillo, Texas, to Subreno Priz and Sally Coolong. She graduated from Tascosa High School in 1972 and spent time after high school exploring the world, with a special fondness for her travels to Florida. In 1999, Ande married the love of her life, Heath Hampton. Together, they shared 26 beautiful years of marriage.

Ande had a deep love for animals and was known for her kind heart, often taking in stray kittens and spending hours watching birds and squirrels in her yard. Her generous spirit extended beyond animals; she had a gift for caring for others and always placed their needs above her own. She was also an enthusiastic fan of reality television, with favorite shows including 90 Day Fiancé, Big Brother, and Survivor. These light-hearted joys brought her laughter and entertainment, reflecting her fun-loving nature. Above all, Ande cherished her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother. Her selflessness, compassion, and unwavering faith were evident to all who knew her. Ande's love for the Lord was the foundation of her life. Her faith guided her actions and gave her strength throughout her journey. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love, and grace that will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Ande was preceded in death by her mother, Sally Priz, father, Subrino Priz; her stepmother, Judy Priz; her brothers, Cecil Priz and Joe Priz and her nephew, Jared Priz.

Survivors left to cherish her memory are her husband, Heath Hampton; her children, Allecia Deuel, Jacob Fox, Jessica Fox, Heath Hampton II, Michelle Hampton and John Michael Hampton, her brother, Sub Priz; her sister, Ann Perez; her grandchildren, Noah, Isaiah, Jade, Addie, Heath, Brian and Emrie.
