Sheilah Lucille Mooney, 66, of Amarillo died on Saturday, March 11, 2017. Life Celebration service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, March 23, 2017 in Coulter Road Baptist Church. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter Street.

Sheilah was born on December 29, 1950 in Roswell, New Mexico to Granville Lee and Geraldine Lucille Mooney. As a young girl she moved with her family to Amarillo, Texas where she graduated from Amarillo High School. She worked in the business office of Texas Tech Health Science Center for 17 years.  Sheilah was the founding member of Coulter Road Baptist Church Singles Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Mrs. Mooney is survived by a brother; numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
