Juan Gutierrez, 60, of Amarillo died on Sunday, November 26, 2017. Rosary will be said at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 3:00 pm, Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe with Father Jose Gomez as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery East. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.
Juan Gutierrez was born on May 12, 1957 in Juarez, Mexico to Jose and Felicitas Gutierrez. He married Margarita Gutierrez and they moved to Amarillo in 1980 and he worked in the construction industry. Juan was a loving father and grandfather and he will be missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Margarita and a brother, Gerardo Gutierrez.
He is survived by his son, Juan Gutierrez and wife Cristina; a daughter, Mayra Guillen and husband Daniel; three brothers, Jose Luis Gutierrez, Lazaro Gutierrez and Alfonso Gutierrez; five sisters, Maria Gutierrez, Elizabeth Gutierrez, Cecilia Villa, Alejandra Vasquez and Irma Gutierrez; four grandchildren, Jazlyn Guillen, Fernanda Gutierrez, Natali Guillen and Johnny Guillen.
