Anna Laura Stewart

Anna Laura Stewart,81, of Amarillo passed from this life on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 20, 2018 in LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are under the personal care LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter Road, Amarillo, Texas 79109.

Anna was born on December 12, 1936 in Lovington, New Mexico. She moved with her family to Amarillo where she grew up. She married Phillip Lloyd Stewart on November 20, 1956 in Amarillo. Anna was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father Hubert Gantt, mother and step father Josephine and Henry Peak and an aunt Mary Gantt.

Mrs. Stewart is survived by her four children, Cynthia Mech, John Stewart and wife Beth, Keith Stewart and wife Wendy and Mary Lou Crist and husband Lyle; thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
