Dorothy Boone Tryon was born on June 7, 1907 in Navasota, Texas to Hannibal N. and Emma Boone. She moved to Amarillo in 1925. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Amarillo Genealogical Society and the Daughter of the republic of Texas. she was preceded in death by her parents; husband John Lester Tryon; sister Mary Boone Allen; son Douglas Tryon; step daughter Elaine Campbell.
She is survived by her children; Sue Tyron Brady of Point Pleasant,WV., Gordon L. Tryon of Fritch,TX. 8 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, and 17 Great-Great Grandchildren.
